Amazon Media EU s.a.r.lLuxembourg, LUXDo you want to join our European, globally-integrated team, who are inspired by the global Amazon Books vision that reading is essential for a healthy society?
Do you believe in the power of reading to bring joy, enlightenment and empowerment to people of all ages and from all backgrounds?
Are you relentless in your pursuit of marketing excellence and innovation?
We are looking for a French-speaking Senior Product Marketing Manager to help us grow Kindle Unlimited (KU) in Europe. Our vision is for Kindle Unlimited to be the world's most loved reading subscription, sparking joy for readers, authors and publishers. In this multi-faceted role, you will be responsible for the full KU marketing strategy and customer experience (CX) for France and Spain, devising and implementing country-specific marketing experimentation plans, as well as analyzing key program metrics and developing the associated growth plans to address. You will also be responsible for EU-wide marketing initiatives, including devising marketing plans to better leverage the Prime Reading program in Europe to drive further growth for Kindle Unlimited. Additionally, you will be the main marketing point of contact for certain new global product features, owning their roll-out to your marketplaces, as well as supporting the broader EU Books organisation to hold a high bar on the CX for overall French Books customers, including Quality Assurance (QA), copy iteration and translations.
You will be asked to collaborate across organisations, functions, and geographies to delight readers, authors, and publishers across Europe and grow the business. Our ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, onsite and outbound marketing experience, and a demonstrated ability to both work at the strategic level (idea generation and development, long term planning) and dive deep into the details (inspecting performance drivers, solving CX defects, test and learn fast mindset). You will show hustle, take ownership and be prepared to roll up your sleeves as part of our hard-working, inclusive and collaborative team.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and deliver marketing experimentation plans leveraging onsite, outbound, performance marketing, device channels, and other customer acquisition and engagement levers, establishing and measuring against success metrics, and launching successful initiatives evergreen.
- Develop insights into marketing channels and customer purchase behavior, and translate them into test plans, new feature proposals and opportunities for optimisation.
- Monitor and inspect MP-level marketing metrics performance; undertake deep dives to understand drivers and develop mitigation plans in partnership with the local product manager plus vendor managers and EU / WW KU Finance
- Partner with global KU product teams on product and feature developments, owning local Go-To-Market plans
- Partner with local and global legal teams to develop and roll out customer-facing compliance initiatives
- Own the customer facing experience of the KU program across all surfaces, including QA processes for campaigns and creative assets
- Develop bespoke marketing plans to encourage publishers to add content into KU, partnering with local vendor management teams
- Own business review inputs for KU in France and Spain (weekly and monthly reviews, goal planning)
- Support the broader EU Books Demand organisation to QA campaigns, iterate on marketing copy and translations
